Equinix Presents Insights on Data Network Peering in Asia at 14th Annual APRICOT Conference Held in Taipei

The Two-Day Peering Track at APRICOT Conference Features Speakers from Key Network and Content Providers

SINGAPORE — February 25, 2008 — Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), the leading provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, today announced that it will present its insights on the effects of deregulation and the dynamics of peering markets within Asia at APRICOT, the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technologies, in Taipei.

Raphael Ho, Director of Network Engineering and Operations for Equinix Asia-Pacific will present the above topic as part of the two-day Peering and ISP Track, taking place on 25th to 26th February, chaired by William Norton, co-founder and chief technical liaison of Equinix.

Other speakers for the Peering and ISP Track include Edward Henigin of Giganews, who will share a case study on the feasibility of the Asia network build out, as well as Bong Hwa Song from Korea Telecom who will present an overview of Korea and International Peering. AOL's Vijay Gill will discuss how to establish relationships with Tier 1 ISPs, and Patrick Gilmore from Akamai will provide a Content Delivery Network provider's perspective on peering in Asia.
