Equinix to Join the NASDAQ-100 Index

Index composed of the 100 largest non-financial stocks listed on Nasdaq

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — December 18, 2012 — Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), the global interconnection and data center company, today announced that the company has been added to the NASDAQ-100 Index® by the Nasdaq Stock Market, effective with the market open on Monday, December 24, 2012. The NASDAQ-100 Index is composed of the 100 largest non-financial stocks listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market based on market capitalization.
