Equinix appoints Donald Badoux as new managing director for Germany

Frankfurt, GERMANY — 14 January 2014 — Equinix, Inc. (NASDAQ: EQIX), a global provider of interconnection and data centre services, has announced the appointment of Donald Badoux as the new managing director of the company’s German division as of January. Equinix currently operates ten International Business Exchange™ (IBX®) data centres in Germany, located in Frankfurt, Munich and Düsseldorf, and intends to expand and further the company’s growth in this region under Badoux’s leadership.

By recruiting Donald Badoux, Equinix has succeeded in acquiring a specialist in the data centre sector with more than 20 years of career experience to his name. He will join Equinix from his position of managing director of SAVVIS Germany GmbH, which he has held for the past two years. Prior to this position, he was responsible for the German business activities of euNetworks and held various executive positions in sales, among others at Verizon, Ericsson and BT.
