Equinix Appoints Cheam Tat Inn as Managing Director of Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - November 21, 2023 - Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), the world’s digital infrastructure company®, announced the appointment of Cheam Tat Inn as Managing Director, Equinix Malaysia, with immediate effect. Cheam will lead Equinix’s expansion and growth strategy in Malaysia, including the recently announced KL1 and JH1 International Business Exchange® (IBX®) data centers in Kuala Lumpur and Johor respectively. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Cheam reports to Jeremy Deutsch, President, Equinix Asia-Pacific.

Cheam is an IT industry veteran with over three decades of experience in driving business growth and has held key leadership roles at leading technology companies, including SAS, The Center of Applied Data Science (CADS), EMC, Sun Microsystems, Nortel Networks, and Compaq Computers.
Cheam holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Henley Business School, UK.
